In 2002, my mother, Lynn, died of metastatic breast cancer at the age of 62. My wife, Trudy, and my stepmother, Judy, are both breast cancer survivors. In 2016, my Ballard Spahr colleagues and I helped inaugurate the Promise Ride in support of breast cancer research, screening, diagnosis, and outreach, and raised over $33,000. In 2017 and 2018, an expanded Team Ballard Spahr raised almost $100,000 more. On June 22nd, Team Ballard Spahr will be riding again through Anne Arundel and Calvert Counties to raise money for breast cancer research, education, and direct services to patients and survivors. Lawyers and staff from multiple offices, and a growing number of clients, have joined the team.

It seems nearly all of us have been affected in some way by breast cancer. Please help support our efforts to grow the Promise Ride and provide support for those fighting breast cancer in Maryland and beyond, and thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
